Due to a number of fansubbing groups deciding to boycott Tokyo Toshokan, Shana Project automatically scrapes Nyaa Torrents for those subbers, and automatically submits those torrents to Tokyo Toshokan.

Shana Project believes in having a strong anime community with competition between subbers, trackers and indexes. It is important for no one to have a true monopoly to maintain the integrity of the scene and to avoid the possibility of a single site's downfall ruining it.
